A dessert as delicious and so common in various cuisines as almond cookies, we would not think that it has a defined origin. However, the Chinese take credit for the good taste of Macau for its almond cookies, while France has its macaroons, the Iranians boast of its ghorabiye, the Turks of the acibadem kurabiyesi and the Norwegians refer to their sandkaker cookies at Christmas. All of these cookies have in common that they are made from almonds. We have not been left behind and we have also adopted this dessert as our own with the almond. By the way, we loved the good taste of Vegetableworld to reproduce the recipe for our almond cookies. A totally vegan recipe based on spelled flour, oat drink and coconut oil. Ingredients For the solid part: 100g whole wheat spelled flour See in store 55g ground almonds See in store Half a teaspoon of baking powder For the liquid part: 4 tablespoons coconut oil A tablespoon of almond cream 2 tablespoons of 100% date paste (60g) 1ml vanilla extract 1/4 glass of oat drink (60g) To add later: A large handful of chopped almonds Elaboration: 1. In a bowl, mix the ingredients for the solid part. 2. We add all the ingredients for the liquid part and mix again. 3. Add the chopped almonds and stir well. 4. Preheat the oven for 15 minutes at 180°. 5. We make cookie shapes, place an almond in the middle of each cookie, put them on a tray with baking paper underneath and put them in the oven for 15 minutes at the same temperature (180°). ⚠️The time may vary depending on each person's oven. 6. After 15 minutes we take them out and let them cool on a rack. If you liked this recipe you can see more of
