Hijiki seaweed is native to Japan, Korea and China. It stands out for its high content of iodine, fiber, iron, calcium, vitamins A, group B vitamins and phosphorus. It has an intense sea flavor and has a meaty texture. Use: Soak for 15 minutes and cook for between 20 and 30 minutes. Combine with vegetables, legumes, tofu or seitan.
