Today we have a delicious dessert recipe with chocolate, it is coconut and chocolate balls, a dessert that should not be missing in the refrigerators to offer to unexpected visitors and to pamper ourselves from time to time. Its flavor provides freshness on the hottest afternoons, so it is ideal as a summer dessert.     • 200 g sugar
    • 120 ml of water
Preparation (3 hours approx.): 1. In a saucepan, mix the sugar and water and put on the heat. Heat the mixture until the sugar has dissolved. It should not boil. 2. Add the water and sugar mixture to the grated coconut. With a spatula, mix everything together. Cover and let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours. 3. Take the grated coconut out of the refrigerator and with lightly oiled hands or latex gloves, form the coconut balls. To shape the balls, you must apply pressure with the palm of your hand and your fingers, since the dough is very delicate. 4. Put the coconut balls in the freezer for about 15 minutes. 5. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave at maximum power and in intervals of about 20 seconds. 6. Take the coconut balls out of the freezer. Dip them one by one into the melted chocolate and let them harden on baking paper. 7. When the chocolate has hardened, the coconut balls can be stored in the refrigerator to eat fresh. 8. If desired, they can be decorated with melted milk chocolate. Enjoy!
