How to Make Katsuobushi DASHI Broth

Boil 1 liter of water and add 40 g of Katsuobushi, letting it cook over low heat for 1 minute.

Turn off the heat and wait 2-3 minutes. Strain the Katsuobushi through a sieve and retain the broth. Store the used Katsuobushi in the refrigerator to make a second batch or use in other cooking methods. Drain any excess liquid and refrigerate the used Katsuobushi to make a second batch of broth. Use within 24 hours.

It can also be used as a seasoning.
