Description
Chia is a source of protein, soluble fiber, antioxidants, calcium and omega 3 fatty acids of plant origin.Its flavor is mild and pleasant and can be taken in juices, smoothies or raw.
MODES OF USE
- Mix the seeds with water, juice or any other liquid. It is absorbed very quickly in less than 10 minutes.
- large amount of liquid, 9 to 12 times its volume.
- It will form a gel that can be added to smoothies, desserts, mixed as a salad dressing or taken by the spoonful.
- To prepare the gel, mix 1/3 of a cup of seeds with about 2 cups of liquid and stir.
- Add the seeds directly to salads or mix them with cereals or dairy products.
- Use as an ingredient in bakery products.
