Nutritional yeast is an inactive yeast that is grown in the molasses of sugar cane or beets, and then undergoes a pasteurization and drying procedure.
It is considered a food supplement for its contribution of proteins of high biological value, and it is also rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber.
Add it to your recipes, such as salads, soup, creams, breads, cakes, cookies and also to your juices, smoothies or shakes.
The recommended daily dose is two tablespoons.
