RECIPE TO MAKE SHEET BREAD

Ingredients
  • 7 g dry baker's yeast
  • 265 g milk
  • 400 g pastry flour (W-250)
  • 15 g olive oil
  • 7 g salt
  • 5g sugar
  • Milk to paint the bread
Preparation (2 hours approx.): 1. Heat the milk (it should be warm) and dissolve the yeast. 2. In a bowl, mix the flour, oil, salt and sugar. 3. Add the milk with the yeast and knead until you obtain a smooth dough. 4. Form a ball and place it in a bowl. Flour the dough ball and cover it with a cloth. 5. Let the dough ferment for about 40 minutes. 6. Heat the oven to 200ºC. 7. Lightly flour the work surface. 8. Pour the dough and give it a rectangular shape. It should have a similar length to the mold where we are going to bake the bread. 9. Form a cylinder with the bread dough. 10. Grease a rectangular mold with oil and place the bread with the gasket on the bottom of the mold. The smooth part of the cylinder must be visible. 11. Cover the bread with a cloth and let it ferment for another 40 minutes. 12. Bake the bread in the lower part of the oven for 15 minutes. 13. After 15 minutes, we cover the bread with silver paper and bake for another 15 minutes in the middle part of the oven. 14. After 15 minutes, we remove the silver paper and let it bake for 2 more minutes. 15. Take out the bread and let it cool completely before unmolding. Enjoy!
