This time we explain how to make a delicious legume cake, using seasonal ingredients that, combined, surprise with their power of flavor. To make this recipe perfect for people who do not consume foods of animal origin, we have added some variants: vegetable milk (you can choose your favorite, between oats, rice or soy), tahini (made with sesame or sesame seeds and extremely heart-healthy) and various spices, which help improve the digestion of the legume mixture. We also advise you to use legumes that you can prepare yourself by soaking the day before. This way you will preserve all its flavor and your cake will be even more delicious. Finally, we remind you that these types of recipes are ideal for children , since they provide a high level of energy and consume foods that would otherwise be more difficult for them to eat. Forward! INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 onion
  • 65 ml soy sauce
  • 1 Carrot
  • 70 ml vegetable milk
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 100g Tahini
  • 300 g of chickpeas
  • 200 g of red beans
  • 30 gr brewer's yeast
FOR THE TOMATO SAUCE:
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • ½ tablespoon of sweet paprika.
  • 1 glass of fried tomato.
PREPARATION: The day before we soak the chickpeas. 1. To begin making the recipe the next day, we begin by sautéing the carrot along with the onion and garlic cloves. 2. Once this is done, we boil the legumes separately. When we notice that both the chickpea and the red bean are cooked, we begin to prepare the ''dough''. 3. First we grind the two legumes and as we see that the preparation is uniform, we add the following ingredients and in this order: Tahini and mix. Brewer's yeast and mix.

Mix carrot, onion and garlic and mix. Add the soy and vegetable milk and stir to mix all the ingredients well.

4. After 4-6 minutes stirring we will see how the dough becomes compacted.

5. Once the dough is ready, we go to prepare the tomato sauce that we will put on top. We mix the fried tomato with the indicated ingredients and add it to the surface of the cake.

6. We bake for 1 hour at 180 degrees and that's it!!!
