Chocolate salami, cookies and nuts

Chocolate salami is a typical dessert of the Christmas season in Europe. The pioneer countries in making this recipe known were Portugal and Italy and it subsequently spread throughout the world quickly. Its cylindrical shape is similar to that of conventional salami, as is the appearance it is given. The color of the chocolate replaces the red of the salami, it is also sprinkled with icing sugar and decorated with cotton twine. We can find chocolate salami already sliced in the best bakeries. The appearance provided by the pieces of cookies and nuts makes it confused with salami. Sometimes they call this dessert "sweet charcuterie" and it cannot be missed at celebrations, parties and birthdays. The little ones in the house love it!
