Recipe to make whole wheat pancakes with ice cream
Ingredients
For the solid part:
140g whole wheat spelled flour see in store
2 tablespoons birch sugar or coconut sugar see in store
a pinch of salt
A teaspoon of baking powder
A pinch of baking soda
For the liquid part:
140g of rice drink see in store
A teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
2ml vanilla extract see in store
A tablespoon of EVOO
Toppings:
Toasted pistachio ice cream
Dehydrated strawberry pieces
Laminated almonds see in store
Grated coconut see in store
white sesame seeds
Preparation?
1. In a bowl, sift the whole wheat spelled flour and add the bran that remains in the sifter. Add the rest of the ingredients for the solid part and stir well.
2. Add the ingredients for the liquid part and mix everything again.
3. Pour a splash of oil into a frying pan, and when it is very hot, pour the dough into a circular pancake shape. Brown the pancake on both sides, turning it over and over. Do the same with the rest of the dough.
4. Transfer the pancakes to a small plate and put the toppings you like the most on top.
