Japanese green tea, or Sencha, is characterized by its low oxidation and lack of fermentation. To obtain Sencha tea, fresh leaves are picked, blanched, pressed, then crushed and dried.
Sencha tea is known for its high diuretic properties and its ability to regulate bowel movements . It's perfect for eliminating excess fluids and relieving bloating. The antioxidant power of this tea is also noteworthy, as it's rich in vitamins C and E and carotenes.

Preparation : Infuse one teaspoon of tea at 80ºC for 3-4 minutes. It can be served hot or cold.
