Prunus domestica syriaca variety or Mirabel or Cascabeles (Aragón) is a plant, variety of the common plum, characterized by producing round, yellow or red plums as fruit, with an acidic flavor. This variety of plum is almost exclusive to the French region of Lorraine, where although there are several varieties, two are mainly distinguished: mirabelles de Nancy and mirabelles de Metz. While the Metz variety is smaller, less sweet and without red spots on the skin, the Nancy variety is more appropriate for fresh consumption because it is sweeter. They are small, yellow plums with a soft texture. Sweet and intense flavor. Ingredients Mirabel plums (51%), concentrated fruit juice (grape, date, pineapple), gelling agent: fruit pectin, lemon juice. May contain plum pits.
