Visual appearance: Amber to dark amber if accompanied by honeydew.

Aroma: Floral with a component of humus, leaf litter, mushrooms and, if honeydew is present, malted notes.

Mouthfeel: Dominance of bitter taste with salty notes, sweet is secondary.

Touch: Crystallization generally rapid and often defective due to its high humidity.

MINIMUM POLLEN PERCENTAGE: Arbutus unedo 8%.
Production area: Shady areas of the mountain ranges of the South West and North of the peninsula.
