This glutinous green rice originates from northern Vietnam. It is harvested while still green, then lightly flattened and dried. It is used for coating, as a substitute for breadcrumbs. Alternatively, it can be fried briefly for crispy rice. It can be combined with other types of rice, such as Basmati, or used as an accompaniment to salads.

The estimated cooking time is 5 minutes. Boiled in mineral water over a conventional heat .
