This Akita Komachi rice, grown in the Ebro Delta, is a variety specially selected for making sushi and other traditional Japanese and Middle Eastern dishes. After cooking, its grains acquire a soft and slightly sticky texture, adhering to each other without losing their shape or integrity. This quality makes it the ideal rice for preparing sushi, makis, nigiris and other recipes that require perfect consistency.

Instructions for use:  Wash the rice seven times until the water runs clear and soak for half an hour before cooking. Cook over low heat, covered, in two parts water to one part rice. Approximate cooking time of 14 minutes.
