Description
It is a loose, whole, dry rice with a grain that exceeds 6 millimeters in length, being three times as long as it is wide.Its best use is as a garnish and for salads because it has very little starch, which prevents it from being sticky.
Cooking time: Wash the rice until the water runs clear. Cook one measure of rice to one measure of water for 15 minutes with a covered pot. The fire has to be soft.
Note on cooking time : It must be taken into account that the cooking times we noted have been taken on a traditional gas stove and using a conventional pot.
