Pinto beans are pinkish with stripes and small maroon spots. They are medium-sized and round. Once cooked, their skin is smooth and soft, and the albumen is slightly mealy. They are perfect for stews.

Cooking time : Soak the beans overnight. Boil for approximately 45 minutes. Shock the beans with cold water at the first boil.
