The Asturian fabada bean is a long, flat, white bean with a very smooth skin. It is notable for its large size, which can double in size after soaking. With a pleasant flavor and creamy texture, it is especially suitable for making fabada (Asturian bean stew) and other stews.

Cooking time : Soak overnight. Simmer gently for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Shock the beans with cold water at the first boil. Cooking time is calculated using traditional methods (not a pressure cooker) and mineral water.
