Today we want to share the recipe for vegetarian pizza with a spinach base. This time we will use as main ingredients for the dough: whole wheat flour, oat flour and chickpea flour. The result will surprise both vegetarians and those who include meat and dairy products in their diet, with this recipe being one of the favorites of both sectors. At home it is the most fun way to include vegetables in the little ones' meals. Its ingredients are simple and very easy to find. Here we leave you the ingredients and the steps you must follow to prepare it. INGREDIENTS FOR THE MASS
  • 1 Cup of oat flour
  • 1 Cup of whole wheat flour
  • 1 Cup of chickpea flour
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 10 grams of special yeast for bread (brown)
  • 100 grams of baby spinach (reserve 15 spinach leaves, chop the rest)
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 Cup of warm water
  FOR COVERAGE
  • 200g of cottage cheese
  • 1 large onion
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 4 tablespoons of Oil
  • 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 apple cider vinegar
ELABORATION MASS 1º In a bowl, pour all the dry ingredients 2nd Mix 3º Add the olive oil and the chopped spinach 4º Mix 5º Add the warm water little by little 6º Mix well until there is a compact mass 7º Let it rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator 8º Next, sprinkle oat flour on the surface you will use to knead the dough. Help yourself with a roller 9º Sprinkle whenever you see that the dough catches with the rolling pin until it is no longer wet and you get a finger thickness. 10º If you want edges on your pizza, fold the sides of your pizza inwards 11º Spread the tomato sauce on the dough now in the desired shape 12º With the oven preheated, place the pizza in the oven for 10 minutes at 200ºC 13º The dough is now ready for the toppings THE COVERAGE 1º Put a frying pan with olive oil on the fire 2º Add the cherry tomatoes cut in half 3º When you see them starting to wrinkle (approximately 5 min) add a pinch of salt, oregano and garlic powder 6th, reserve them on a plate while we prepare the caramelized onion 7º In that same pan, pour the julienned onion and add the brown sugar, and then the vinegar. 10º Stir until the sugar dissolves (approximately 15 seconds) 11º Leave the preparation for approximately 30 minutes over low heat and stirring sporadically to prevent it from sticking. 12º When you see that the onion is brown and the sugar and vinegar mixture has reduced, it is time to remove 13º The order of the toppings is as follows: -Spread the Cottage Cheese on the entire surface of the base -Caramelized onion -The 15 leaves of spinach -And finally the roasted tomatoes with spices 14º Without having turned off the oven, place the pizza with the toppings and this time at 220Cº for another 10 minutes And voila, your pizza is ready.
