Homemade nutella or carob cream is a delicious spread that can be easily made at home. It can be used as a companion in cookies, bread, cakes, among others. The recipe that we bring you today is made up entirely of vegetable ingredients and we will use vegetable oat milk to achieve the pasty consistency.

Vegan carob cream is a food recognized for its nutritional properties. Among which stands out a significant amount of proteins of plant origin. In addition, it has the presence of soluble fibers that especially carob provides. Minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium and zinc. And vitamins, A, B1, B2 and D that provide the rest of the nuts that we will use. For children it is considered a surprising source of energy and it is necessary to highlight that it is free of any chemical stimulant and/or preservatives. Remember that, as it does not have preservatives, this recipe can last in the refrigerator for a maximum of a week, but it is worth it. Another thing that everyone likes is that it is fat-free and, if that were not enough, it does not contain gluten. Which makes it a food for all celiacs. The sweetener we will use is natural, a sugar provided directly by the dates, so no refined sugar. Next, we will share the ingredients and steps to make this easy recipe at home so that you can delight the little ones at snacks. Ingredients:
  • 120 gr. Carob flour
  • 100 gr. Pitted dates
  • 75 gr. Cashews
  • 130 gr. Hazelnut
  • 1 Glass of Vegetable Milk
Elaboration: 1. In the blender jar we introduce the nuts along with the dates and add half a glass of vegetable milk (In this case I have used oat milk) and begin to blend. 2. When we see that the mixture is thickening, we add the carob flour. 3. We continue grinding and add the other half glass of milk that remains until we obtain a homogeneous and malleable ''paste''. We already have our Carob cream!! Remember that it can be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 1 week.
