HERE IS ANOTHER VERSION OF THE RECIPE: VEGAN MEATBALLS (WITHOUT EGG)

To get the ideal texture to make the meatballs, you will only have to mix it with whole wheat flour, breadcrumbs and egg. You will have to knead the mixture with your hands until all the ingredients are perfectly mixed. Plus, adding more flavor to meatballs is as simple as adding garlic, parsley, and salt. These elements will finish giving them all the flavor you are looking for. Finally, something that will help you get an even juicier dish, just add tomato sauce. This dish is ideal for summer, since it is light, tasty and has all the properties you need to have a balanced diet and it is also a dish that also usually delights the little ones in the house. Try it! INGREDIENTS
  • 400 gr. textured soy
  • 100g wholemeal or wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Parsley, oil and salt
  • Ketchup
Elaboration 1.Soak the soybeans with twice as much water for an hour to hydrate them. 2. Drain the soy and mix it with the egg, flour, breadcrumbs, finely chopped garlic and parsley. 3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and knead it with your hands until you get a dough. 4. Form balls the size of a walnut and dredge them in the flour. 5. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs. 6. Drain the meatballs on kitchen paper and set them aside. 7. Heat the homemade tomato sauce and add the meatballs. Let them cook for a few minutes and serve. Enjoy!
