Recipe to make vanilla and candied cherry panellets (approx. 35 units)

With this simple recipe you can make up to 35 vanilla and candied cherry panellets . In an easy and fun way Ingredients: Marzipan:
  • 250 g almond flour
  • 250 g icing sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Bourbon vanilla beans
To decorate:
  • 1 jar of Casa Perris candied cherries
  • 1 egg to paint the panellets
Elaboration:
  1. Mix the almond flour, icing sugar, egg and vanilla pod pulp until you get a compact marzipan dough.
  2. Wrap the marzipan with plastic wrap and leave it in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
  3. The next day, form marzipan balls of about 15 grams and place half a candied cherry on top.
  4. Paint the panellets with beaten egg and place them on a baking tray covered with aluminum or baking paper.
  5. Bake for about 7 minutes at 220ºC.
