Jijona nougat mousse

The parties, the meals, the endless after-meals and the dates full of commitments have already passed. However, there are surely many things that are still left in your closet. . . like nougat and marzipan. . .

Perhaps marzipan is less easy to recycle. But to reinvent leftover Christmas nougat we have the perfect answer! We present you a recipe full of flavor, energy and style: Jijona nougat mousse. Preparing this dessert is simple and practical: we need few and low-cost ingredients and it won't take too much time either. Furthermore, Jijona nougat only contains ingredients that the vast majority like (sugar, egg, honey...) in addition to the energetic ground almonds, the base of most nougats.

Mixing and crumbling the nougat is also very easy, since it is a soft dessert that takes a long time to spoil. On the other hand, to transform it into Mousse we will only have to mix it with the ingredients that we specify and put it in the refrigerator, so the maximum time we will spend making this dessert will be between 25 and 30 minutes. So, if you have to organize a dinner soon. . . Look in the closet and give new life to this Christmas nougat.
