Relieve and counteract Christmas excesses

After Christmas family meals and dinners, which are characterized by their high content of fats and quickly absorbed carbohydrates , our body needs to rebalance itself through foods rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and easily digestible proteins.

An excellent option is to have julienne soup , which contains: carrot, celery, parsnip, parsley, onion and leek. All of them are diuretic vegetables that will help us eliminate fluids and avoid the feeling of bloating. They will also provide us with a good amount of vitamins and minerals that will help us be more active and feel less tired.

As it contains no fat and very few carbohydrates, this soup will be very easy to digest and its soluble and insoluble fiber content will help us eliminate the accumulated fat these Christmas days.

Soup is an ideal food in winter, as it provides us with warmth and well-being, especially at night.

If we also want to enrich the julienne soup even more, a very good option is to add hatcho miso once the soup is already prepared. This is very important, since miso loses its properties if it is boiled. Hatcho miso is a product originally from Japan that is made by fermenting soybeans, water, salt and koji , the fungus used to ferment soybeans. Hatcho miso stands out for its easy digestion (since it is fermented), for its alkalizing properties and for its high content of amino acids, vitamin B2, B12, vitamin E and isoflavones. All of this contributes to lowering cholesterol levels, avoiding premature aging and repopulating the intestinal flora.
